Healthy Air Quality for Oregon's Child Care Programs During Wildfire Season

In this presentation-based course, participants will learn about the impact of air quality on the health of young children during wildfire season. The training will cover preparedness best practices, prevention and harm-reduction strategies, and ways CCR&Rs can support facilities, providers, and families following a wildfire. While the course is primarily instructor-led, participant engagement is incorporated through questions, guided reflection, and opportunities to share strategies and activities that can be used in the classroom.
