Healthy Smiles Start Early
Promoting Dental Hygiene in Early Childhood (Ages 0–5)

Participants will examine tooth development milestones and investigate risk factors affecting early childhood caries. They will demonstrate and practice oral hygiene routines, design classroom strategies, and implement culturally responsive family engagement approaches. Educators will analyze, strategize, and plan to build healthy habits that support children’s oral health in group care settings.
