Creating Inspiring Spaces in Early Childhood Learning Environments

Participants in this workshop will synthesize the characteristics of a play-based and Reggio-inspired approach while developing learning centers and environments for young children, evaluate the Seven Principles of Design, conduct an analysis of learning centers for classrooms serving infants/toddlers & preschoolers using checklists of NAEYC quality indicators, and engage in the design of responsive and intentional environments.
