Privilege and Me
Examining Social Identity, Unearned Advantages, and how we can work to make Things fair for Everyone

Privilege is unearned access or advantages granted to specific groups of people because of their membership in a social group. It can be based on various social identities such as race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, ability status, sexuality, age, or education level. In this class, participants will examine their personal perspectives of privilege and how these shape their ECE practices.
