It All Adds Up! The Big Impact of Effective Teaching Practices

We often focus on the “what” of teaching: which materials to offer, which curriculum to buy, and how to set up the classroom. Those are important factors, but research shows that outcomes are actually more influenced by what teachers do - their behaviors and practices. We’ll reflect on 10 teacher behaviors that result in rewarding, culturally-sustaining connections and learning.

This is a 2 part training for 6 hours of ORO credit. Must attend both sessions to receive credit. 1 hour of the training is approved as outside of the classroom work and is done between sessions.

    Step 1: Go to https://events.clackesd.org. Login or create a new account.
    Step 2: From your my account page click Browse Courses.
    Step 3: Click Workshops & Trainings, then click CCR&R
    Step 4: You can search by ID number or title. Add all desired courses to your cart.
    Step 5: Click on your cart and then click checkout.
    Step 6: Proceed through checkout process with a credit card. Your account will show classes you have registered for or completed and receipts. To cancel a class and receive a refund please call.
