Trauma Informed Series

In this six hour series, we will explore three different aspects of trauma-informed care in both early education and school-aged settings. Specifically, we will (1) introduce how adverse childhood experiences effect children's behavior and social-emotional development. We will (2) discuss how to prevent adverse childhood experiences and toxic stress by forming positive connections with children and families. Finally, we will (3) discuss various resources for families that can help heal and build resiliency in a toxic environment.
