Emotion Coaching for Young Children

Participants will examine Meta-Emotions, the Four Parenting Styles, and the five steps to Emotion Coaching based on the work of the Talaris Institute and John Gottman, Ph.D. The purpose is to help parents and early childhood practitioners understand the importance of valuing emotions, both in children, and in themselves.

    Step 1: Go to https://events.clackesd.org. Login or create a new account.
    Step 2: From your my account page click Browse Courses.
    Step 3: Click Workshops & Trainings, then click CCR&R
    Step 4: You can search by ID number or title. Add all desired courses to your cart.
    Step 5: Click on your cart and then click checkout.
    Step 6: Proceed through checkout process with a credit card. Your account will show classes you have registered for or completed and receipts. To cancel a class click on it under courses and choose cancel as the action. You will receive email confirmations for each action.
