Examination of Child Development and Delay
Birth to age Five

Participants will examine the distinctions, similarities and differences of typical and atypical child development across six developmental domains, including “red flags” or potential delay in infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The 13 categories of disabilities will be explored along with related special education services available through Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education (EI/ECSE). An activity-based approach to early intervention will be examined.
