A New Approach for Parenting, Teaching & Treating Children with Behavioral Challenges

Newberg School District, CCR&R and Yamhill Early Learning Hub are pleased to offer an Introductory Collaborative Problem Solving Training (CPS).

The CPS approach provides a new way of understanding and helping kids who struggle with behavioral challenges.
Provides an introduction to the philosophy of CPS.
Provides exposure to the assessment, planning and intervention components of the model.
Strategies for when a child refuses or has difficulty expressing his/her concerns.
Strategies for when a child has difficulty with cognitive flexibility.
Strategies for when a child has difficulty with emotional or self regulation.
Strategies for proactively working with children to build skills for areas that cause chronic challenges.
