Autism Spectrum Disorder 101 for the Childhood Care & Education Practitioner

Course will provide a brief overview of Autism to include: common characteristics, differences between medical diagnosis and educational eligibility, and learning strengths and challenges. Participants will be provided with a variety of strategies to implement in an inclusive childhood setting, such as visual systems, environmental supports, and sensory strategies.
