Growing Farm to Preschool in your Community

This session highlights the emerging national Farm to Preschool movement, its impact in Oregon, and opportunities to implement Farm to Preschool programming in your community. Learn about the different models for procuring local foods as well as using edible gardens and other educational activities to educate young children for both in-home providers as well as childcare centers. Learn about the types of resources that are available for early care and education providers, and complete an activity to help you think through how to get started or expand Farm to Preschool programming given your individual program needs and resources.
