Math Activities for Young Children

Exploring mathematics helps children make sense and find meaning in their worlds. Help them to reason, make connections, and learn about numbers, shapes, and problem solving with hands-on activities and storybooks. Child Care providers will learn that the substance of math content provides facts and concepts needed to promote and extend children's mathematical thinking. We will discuss how to create math activities for children.
