Promoting Social Emotional Competence: Social Emotional Teaching Strategies

Facilitating children’s social/emotional development is important in order for children to be successful in school. Skills include the ability to solve problems, communicate emotions appropriately, and effectively build friendships. This module focuses on strategies for teaching these skills to support positive behaviors.
