Interpreting Behaviors in Typically Developing Children and Children with Special Needs
Examine the difference between behavioral issues that are part of typical development and those that go beyond temper tantrums. "Meltdowns" can be triggered by processing differences in children with neurodevelopmental disorders and must be handled differently. Determine how the conscious motivation or "brain based" malfunction influences behavior.
