All children need kind, firm guidance and teaching to learn life-long skills. Children who have experienced trauma (abuse, neglect, etc.) at a young age need this even more than most. In this class, we will talk about early childhood trauma's effects on brain development and the role it plays in behavior, as well as offer concrete strategies for working successfully with these children.
