Creating a Respectful Anti-Bias Early Childhood Learning Community

Young children are bombarded with biased messages that inhibit them from reaching their full potentials. As early childhood professionals it is our responsibility to provide a caring and respectful environment that supports the cultures and values of all of the children, families and staff in our programs and homes. In this interactive workshop we will examine how our own values, culture, privilege and experience with oppression effect our work. We will also learn strategies to transform programs into anti-bias learning communities.
