Participants will explore their own understanding of cultural competence related to their work in child care settings. The links between individual “world view”, cultural filters, cultural knowledge and cultural competence will be addressed. The session will include experiential activities to demonstrate the importance of celebrating both cultural similarities and cultural differences.
