Autism 101 - What Do I Do to Help This Child?

Explore the challenges and rewards of supporting children with autism in an early care and education setting. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding, learn new strategies, and clear up misconceptions.

Trainer: Delores Rubino has a Master’s Degree in Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Oregon. She has worked as a Preschool Instructor/Case Manager, and is now an Autism Consultant with DESD Child Development Services, responsible for education programs for children 0– 5 who have Autism eligibility. She presents trainings pertinent to families of children on the Autism Spectrum, and is also a Mom of 8 great children, one of whom experiences Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
