Music and Movement

Purposeful singing can start as early as 12 months. Music education for young children involves the developmentally appropriate activities of singing, moving, listening,
creating, playing instruments, and responding to visual and verbal representations of sound. It serves the expressive, emotional, intellectual, social, and creative needs of
all children.
