Enjoy Healthy Foods that Taste Great and Make Healthy Eating Part of Your Total Lifestyle

In this training you will learn about small changes you can make to give you new ways to eat healthy. You will gain practical ideas for recipe modifications and cooking techniques to reduce calories, fats, salt and added sugars. We will also cover the concepts of a healthy lifestyle; learn about foods that should be eaten regularly and those that should be eaten only occasionally. We will practice how to use and understand a Nutrition Facts Label and how to incorporate more whole grains into fall and winter dishes, soups and skillet meals. CKC: Health, Safety & Nutrition.
