Reflecting Community Diversity and Cultures in Your Program

This class will explore
childhood care and education should reflect the diverse lives, cultures, and language of all families in their community. We will explore the diversity in our community in all these areas.
We will discuss why it is important to foster awareness, respect and appreciation of diversity in our families in our communities
We will discuss how to reflect and implement diversity into our program in tangible ways such as environments, nutrition, materials and curriculum.
