In this training, participants will describe how observation and assessment support responsive teaching for children from birth to age five. Participants will differentiate objective observations, interpretations, and judgements; compare developmentally and culturally appropriate instruments, identify team roles; discuss how intentional observation can guide children's learning, inspire curiosity, strengthen engagement, and support respectful information sharing with families and educators.
