Child Care Emergency Preparedness Training

Save the Children’s Child Care Emergency Preparedness Training introduces providers to the foundational principles of preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies in child care settings. Participants will learn to recognize potential hazards and identify the key components of a written emergency plan. The training also introduces family communication and reunification, emergency supplies, inclusive planning, drills, and records protection. Participants will leave with increased awareness of emergency preparedness and practical starting points for strengthening their program’s existing plans and procedures.

  • All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for zoom classes in advance, the zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins, hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will only be emailed to those who request them by contacting lfrazey@clackesd.org. Participants can only take one live online class at a time.
