Supporting Young Mathematicians
Using Storybooks to Inspire Math Play and Learning

Participants in "Supporting Young Mathematicians" connect mathematics with literacy and play. Participants will engage with current research about math learning, analyze storybooks, and experience fun and developmentally-appropriate math activities to take back to their learning settings. Finally, participants will apply concepts to create and share an original math activity based on a story.

Participants in Supporting Young Mathematicians connect literacy, mathematics, and play. We will evaluate the rich math content in story books, experience lots of museum-tested activities, and develop fun and developmentally appropriate story-based games to take back to your learning setting.
Four hours of Set Two content and activities focused on Preschool age in CKC LEC.

Ticket includes same-day museum general admission for training participant.
