This training provides a comprehensive introduction to Oregon’s Spark, the
state’s Quality Recognition and Improvement System (QRIS). Participants will learn
about Spark’s purpose, benefits, eligibility requirements, participation process, and the
Quality Improvement Cycle as the framework for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
The session also highlights resources to support goal setting and quality improvement
planning, helping providers make informed decisions about participating in Spark and
strengthening the quality of their early learning programs.

  • All participants must pay via credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for Zoom classes in advance; the Zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes cancelled less than two business days prior to the training date are not eligible for a refund. Credit hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins; hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will only be emailed to those who request them by contacting lfrazey@clackesd.org. Participants may only take one live online class at a time.
