This training explores the importance of the learning environment in early childhood classrooms, combining both theoretical and practical components through a Montessori-inspired approach. Participants will examine how the physical space influences children's development and learning, and will gain practical strategies to transform their classroom using Montessori principles and commonly available materials.

  • All participants must pay via credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for Zoom classes in advance; the Zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes cancelled less than two business days prior to the training date are not eligible for a refund. Credit hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins; hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will only be emailed to those who request them by contacting lfrazey@clackesd.org. Participants may only take one live online class at a time.
