How to Attract, Retain, and Develop Early Childhood Teachers

We will explore how to create systems to recruit, hire, orientate, train and evaluate the growth of staff working in our childcare program. We will also discuss the importance of budgeting to plan for staffing costs to determine wages and benefits for staff. Participants will use this knowledge in their own businesses to make decisions about staffing.

This class will be held in person at my childcare center. You must attend all 4 hours to get credit for the class. Anyone who arrives more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted for the class or given credit. If you have the Oregon Family Childcare Scholarship, you can e-mail that ahead of time to use as payment for the class.
