Managing Big Feelings and Consequences
Challenging behaviors can be the biggest obstacle to delivering instruction. When things don't go their way, preschool children can express their frustration with big feelings that can include, crying, screaming, hitting, and refusing to follow directions. This presentation will discuss strategies for dealing with these feelings, and how to use consequences as a means to modify behavior.
