Emotional literacy is identifying and understanding emotions in appropriate, healthy ways. These skills develop over time. In fact, many of the challenging behaviors we see in young children are evidence of their developmental stages. We will explore the development of emotional literacy and share strategies to support and teach the young early learners in our care about feelings.
