Examining and Applying Cultural Influences to Challenging Behaviors (Examinando y aplicando las influencias culturales en el comportamiento desafiante)

Participants will examine how culture influences identity development and behavior in young children. They will explore the role of family and culture on behavior and develop culturally specific activities to promote positive behavior. Participants will develop strategies they will use to obtain more information about how culture might be influencing the challenging behavior of children in their program.
