Across 3 focused sessions, participants will learn how High-Quality Inclusive Environments benefit everyone and strategies to support inclusion and individualized instruction in the preschool setting, specifically focusing on high quality learning environments and clarifying classroom schedules. We will also discuss strategies to support inclusion and individualized instruction in the preschool setting, specifically focusing on curriculum modifications. We will identify why curriculum modifications are important and the different types of curriculum modifications. Finally, we will review the building blocks inclusion framework and the implementation steps and look at examples. We will identify what embedded learning opportunities are, why they are important, and when to use them. We will review making ELO plans. We will discuss how to use an activity matrix to organize individualized learning.
