Maximizing Your Child’s Brain Power

Research is providing powerful new insights into how the brain learns, which impact how we treat young children, how we teach, and how we structure our schools. This workshop will present this information and the implication for children and their families. Discussion includes the correlation of Nature-Nurture, the development of neurons and synapses, the effect of love and interaction, stress, drugs, and TV. Strategies on how you can maximize the child's brain power will be explored.
