Understanding Young Children's Behavior with the ABCs
This class provides an introduction to the behavior "ABCs", Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence, observations to effectively learn about, and respond to, children's behavior. Participants will learn observation strategies, practice taking sample data, and discuss how to leverage these strategies to attune to children's needs both before and after behaviors occur. Resources will be provided for participants to expand their learning with core classroom strategies supporting all children, in addition to how to approach more intensive interventions.
