SEIU: The Basics of the Child Meal Pattern Requirements

We will cover the specific nutritional guidelines and meal patterns for children participating in the CCFP. Includes requirements for different age groups and food components such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk, and meat or meat alternatives, as well as portion sizes. Participants will learn how to meet requirements for milk, gluten, and whole grains, along with the principles of Offer Versus Serve.
