Developmental Milestones of the preschooler years (Вехи развития дошкольного возраста)
Anatomical, physiological, and psychological characteristics of children (3-5 years old) (Анатомо-физиологические и психологические особенности дошкольников (3-5 лет))

During the training, you will expand your knowledge about the preschool age (3-5 years old). We will discuss the peculiarities of the social environment, namely that the child discovers the world of human relations, different types of activities, and public functions of people. The driving forces of the development of preschoolers’ psyche are the contradictions that arise with regard to the development of a new child’s needs. The most significant of these are: - the need for communication with which social experience is learned from; - the need for external impressions, resulting in the development of cognitive abilities; - the need for motion, which leads to the mastery of the whole system of various skills and abilities. AT the training, we will explore the leading activity at this age - role-playing. In more detail, we will dwell on the study of the development of mental processes and discuss the issue of diagnosing the child's readiness to study at school.
