Strengthening Communication with Families During an Emergency
Navigating emergencies with your program and your family is no longer an “if” but a “when”. This training takes and in-depth look at look at the risks facing our families and communities and asks participants to rethink their approach to family communication, supports, prevention, and responses to emergencies and to develop a policy that goes beyond the basics required by licensing to be truly responsive to to the needs of their community.
