Conversations with Children About Consent

Participants will develop tools to use when discussing aspects of boundaries and consent. Learn how to talk with children about their own voice and choices in a way that acknowledges the various facets of consent. Learn the basics of consent, ways that we inadvertently teach children that consent is not important and practice strategies to bring back to your classroom.

Additional information

This training is one of two trainings being offered on this same date of July 12, 2025. You must attend both trainings in order to receive credit for the day. Both trainings take place as part of the overall title for the day which is "Voice & Choice: A Saturday of Heart-Centered Teaching and Living".

For your onetime fee you get:
"Conversations About Consent" in the morning, 8-11 am (Set Two)
Lunch Break
"Self-Care Comes Second to Self-Compassion" in the afternoon, 12-2 pm. (Set Two)
You will receive a certificate for each of these trainings that can be uploaded to your MyORO account.
