Held

Emergency Preparedness & Bloodborne Pathogens
Are your policies and procedures up to date for an emergency?

This session will focus on the emergency policies-both natural and human-made--that childcare programs may implement to ensure program safety. Participants will gain an understanding of the distinction between policies and procedures, particularly in relation to standard safety protocols that are often overlooked. The session will also provide guidance on recognizing and defining bloodborne pathogens, as well as identifying best practices that can effectively eliminate or mitigate the risk of exposure.
