During this training, family advocates/home visitors will have the chance to engage in self-reflection and assessment of their foundational knowledge, skills and abilities as home visitors and how helpful responses create possibilities, strengthen connections, help parents feel understood and accepted, creating a feeling of safety and practice helpful responses that build positive connections with families during challenging home visit situations.
