This training uses verbal-linguistic intelligence as the basis to explore linguistic development, cultural sensitivity to language diversity, and the important role of families in serving as linguistic resources and role models. The training includes strategies for helping children to develop verbal-linguistic intelligence skills and respectfully incorporating multiple languages and perspectives in the childhood care and education program.
