In this session, we will examine how to use literacy to promote diversity and inclusion, and support children in understanding and appreciating others and the world around them. It is imperative we learn about the families represented in our programs including their language, customs, values, and beliefs, so that we can provide a culturally and linguistically responsive learning environment.
