Identification of Children Ages 0-5 Experiencing Potential Developmental Delays

This training will explore the developmental continuum according to research-based tools such as the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework and what are developmentally appropriate expectations according to developmental domains and children’s age. We will discuss potential tools to help screen children’s developmental skills and when and how to make referrals for evaluations relating to special education services.
