Kindergarten Readiness: Rooted Beginnings
Cultivando la Comunidad y Fomentando la Independencia en la Primera Infancia/ Cultivating Community and Fostering Independence in Early Childhood

In this interactive workshop we will explore: foundational principles and practical tools informed by brain science, trauma and attachment theory, and social-emotional learning; understanding behavior as communication and how to respond compassionately; how to strengthen our own regulation skills to create safer classroom environments; and the harmful impacts of power and inequities. Doing this helps early learners regulate their bodies and brains, build emotional/feelings, vocabulary, begin to problem solve independently, and grow age-appropriate communication skills.
