Introduction to Selecting Quality Multicultural Children's Books
In this workshop, participants will be provided an overview on 10 steps to choose multicultural children's books to promote diversity and inclusion in early childhood classrooms. Participants will learn the concepts of mirror and window books. Presenters will share quality children’s books and resources to help teachers select books that reflect children and their family’s cultures and home languages.
