Join author Virginia Harmelink as she guides you through the basics of integrated curriculum using an exploration of differentiated instruction as well as the integration of core learning experiences and approaches, including foundations of age-appropriate, individual-appropriate and culturally appropriate teaching and learning. You'll reflect upon how to develop lessons that begin with the interests of the children and branch out to integrate a wide variety of developmentally appropriate learning opportunities and assessments.

The first session will guide you through the process of integrating curriculum using a variety strategies and graphic organizers that you will then take back to your classroom to implement and reflect upon.
The second session gives you the opportunity to collaborate and learn from others as you reflect upon your own learning around the integration of these concepts in your work with children.
