Preschool Pyramid Model: Introduction & Modules 1-6

The Pyramid Model is a framework of evidence-based practices for promoting young children’s healthy social and emotional development. In 2023, the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI) released new training modules. The modules include the Introduction to the Pyramid Model, 8 Promoting Social and Emotional Competence of Infants and Toddlers modules, and 6 Promoting Social and Emotional Competence in the Preschool Classroom modules.

    It is your responsibility to verify that the training sessions you select will meet your licensing or professional development needs.

This training is part of a cohort training. We are covering all 6 of the Pyramid modules over a series of 5 Saturdays with a 30 minute period for lunch on each training day longer than four hours. The schedule of Saturdays for this training is as follows:
--10/19/24 8am-4:30pm with half hour lunch
--10/26/24 8am-4:30pm with half hour lunch
--11/3/24 8am-4:30pm with half hour lunch
--11/16/24 8am-4:30pm with half hour lunch
--11/24/25 8am-10:30am (2.5 hours)

Total hours for this training is 32.5 and you must attend all Saturdays to receive credit hours.

  • All participants must pay with a credit card or with a scholarship code issued by Clackamas CCR&R and must register for zoom classes in advance, the zoom link will be included in the class confirmation email. Classes canceled less than 2 business days in advance of the training date are not eligible for a refund. Hours will only be issued to participants who arrive no later than 15 minutes after the class begins, hours will be automatically uploaded to ORO by Clackamas CCR&R. Certificates will only be emailed to those who request them by contacting efitzsimons@clackesd.org. Participants can only take one live online class at a time.
