An Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder

This class is designed as an introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Be prepared to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder and how to work with children in care who are affected by it. Providers will also learn more about the development of communication skills and how these can be supported in child care. Some basic strategies for helping children will be discussed.
