A Model for Addressing Challenging Behavior

A detailed description of Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children, a model of intervention for young children with persistent and severe challenging behaviors. Based on the well-established procedures of positive behavior support and designed to help providers implement the assessment and intervention strategies with fidelity, leading to improved effectiveness. The session will include descriptions and examples of the steps of the model.

This trainer is a collaboration with the Pyramid Model Consortium. The Inclusion Initiative at ELSI has contracted with the Pyramid Model Consortium to deliver the trainings and there will be updates to the trainers listed coming soon once more are identified.
