Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)

TBRI - Trust-Based Relational Intervention is designed to train caregivers to meet the needs of children impacted by trauma. Bringing together teaching, resources, and practical experiences, parents and caregivers will gain a deeper understanding of these children’s needs.

The training includes research-based tools to promote attachment and connection using Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) methods developed by Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross at the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU. TBRI is a care model designed to help meet relational and developmental needs of children and youth impacted by trauma.
