Staying Safe in the Summer
How to protect kids from the hazards of heat, smoke, and more

Join a FREE training session with Lane County Public Health Emergency Preparedness to learn about resources for keeping children healthy and safe through the summer, including the smoky days of the wildfire season. Participants will learn about the importance of protecting kids from heat and wildfire smoke, how to monitor air quality, and ways to create a cleaner air space – including how to make a portable air filter. Participants will be entered into a raffle to win the components to make their own DIY air filter!
